‘Doomsday’ couple Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell were the prime suspects for the death of Vallow’s 7-year-old son, Joshua “JJ” Vallow, and 16-year-old daughter, Tylee Ryan, who were both discovered dead, buried in Daybell’s property.

The prosecutors working on the case claimed that the ‘doomsday’ couple had been involved in the cult, which follows the belief in “zombies” and possessions, according to the AP News.

The ‘doomsday’ couple believed that killing the person’s body would eliminate the evil spirit inside them and prevent it from taking over the body so that the person would not turn into a “zombie.” Strangely enough, it was found out that Vallow always pertained to her son and daughter “zombies” before their death.

‘Doomsday’ Couple’s Involvement to the Death of Daybell’s Former Wife

Apart from the murder of JJ and Tylee, the ‘doomsday’ couple was also accused of being involved in the death of Daybell’s former wife, Tammy Daybell, when the two immediately got married only four weeks after her death.

Tammy’s cause of death was initially reported as natural causes; however, Daybell refused to do an autopsy on his former wife’s body, raising suspicions. Authorities later did an autopsy on the body and discovered she died due to asphyxiation.

The ‘doomsday’ couple has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, but people around them were determined to get justice for their loved ones’ deaths.
