Donald Trump was booked in federal court, and CNN announced the news with an advertising graphic that read “DONALD TRUMP NOW UNDER ARREST”; he would be given an officer to supervise him.
Before Trump’s initial court appearance on Tuesday afternoon on 37 charges of violating the Espionage Act, CNN journalists had been broadcasting live throughout Florida from Monday.
As reported by former U.S. Attorney Marcos Jimenez, Trump had been detained and would be given a probation officer during Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s The Arrest & Arraignment of Donald Trump.
With numerous hosts, participants, correspondents, and specialists, CNN carried on with their broadcast while displaying a banner that regularly read “DONALD TRUMP NOW UNDER ARREST.”
