James Craig, a Colorado dentist, has been implicated in the murder of his wife, Angela Craig, through a series of disturbing online searches and alleged poisoning

Angela had been experiencing unexplained symptoms, including dizziness, vomiting, and confusion, leading her to make multiple hospital visits. Coroner Kelly Lear determined that Angela’s cause of death was cyanide and tetrahydrozoline poisoning, a substance found in eye drops.

Court documents suggest that James Craig planned the murder meticulously, referring to it as a “heinous, complex and calculated murder.” James Craig alleged mistress, fellow dentist Karin Cain, denied willingly engaging in a relationship with a married man and rejected the label of being James Craig’s mistress.

The investigation into James Craig began when his dental partner, Ryan Redfearn, informed a nurse that James Craig had ordered potassium cyanide despite it not being necessary for their work

Additionally, James Craig had been meeting Cain while his wife was hospitalized. Authorities intercepted a delivery of oleandrin, another poisonous substance, which James Craig had reportedly ordered. It was discovered that James Craig had mentioned a previous incident of drugging his wife years ago, claiming he intended to commit suicide. However, his sister-in-law, Toni Kofoed, believes this incident is what James Craig was referring to in text messages discussing Angela’s symptoms.

James Craig’s motive appears to involve financial troubles and marital issues. Redfearn mentioned James Craig’s impending bankruptcy and marital problems, while Angela’s sister recalled a past drugging incident. As the case unfolds, neighbors express shock and concern for the couple’s six children who have lost both parents in this tragic event.
