Dublin’s law enforcement made a startling announcement on Friday, revealing that Deepak Chopra, a 51-year-old Livermore resident, and owner of Dublin Knives, has been taken into custody

The investigation commenced on August 11 when the Dublin police initiated a probe into Dublin Knives, located on Dublin Boulevard, for its potential involvement in the unlawful distribution of prohibited arms.

Securing a search warrant for both the establishment and Deepak Chopra’s residence, detectives uncovered a jaw-dropping assortment of contraband. At the store, law enforcement reportedly seized an astonishing 2,000 contraband switchblade knives, as well as an arsenal of about 40 rifles and handguns.

The authorities also uncovered an assortment of weaponry that included body armor, four concealed sword canes, and 245 pairs of brass knuckles

Meanwhile, a search of Deepak Chopra’s dwelling yielded an equally shocking haul: 19 intact rifles of diverse makes and calibers, 25 lower receivers resembling assault rifles, over 50 magazines with high capacities, parts of a .30 caliber machine gun, and a personally assembled firearms jig designed for the production of untraceable firearms, often referred to as “ghost guns.”

Adding to the unfolding drama, authorities announced on August 17 that a storage unit in Livermore belonging to Deepak Chopra had been discovered. Inside, an alarming surplus of weaponry was found, comprising over 80 firearms, including 50 rifles, 30 handguns, and a fully-automatic .30 caliber machine gun.
