“Cracker Barrels collapsed.” Recently, a Southern restaurant business has come under fire for its inclusion campaign

Rising at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores? The Middle Tennessee-based company that sells meatloaf and deep-fried steak, which is primarily located in Old Dixie, has drawn criticism for its inclusion, diversity, and equity campaign.

The Texas Family Project tweeted, “We have no joy in announcing that Cracker Barrel has collapsed.” The Texas group used a 2-page brochure from the restaurant chain honoring Pride month as proof of its involvement, which appeared to be several funded rainbow-colored rocking chairs.

“Discrimination, visible or by implicit bias, have absolutely no place at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store,” the corporation, which has throughout the years come under fire for its behavior, declares.

It requested and was given a “no-action” certificate from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 1992 so that stockholder recommendations referring to its labor policies and specifically, its policy, which was made public in a news release stating it was not going to hire gay or lesbian employees would be excluded.
