The judge found a California man of murder and attempted murder and sentenced him to 119 years to life imprisonment
The court found Anthony Rauda, a California man, guilty of murder in the death of Tristan Beaudette. The California man is also guilty of attempted murder of the two young daughters of Tristan Beaudette.
California man fatally shot Tristan Beaudette in the head while camping with his two daughters on June 18, 2018, in Malibu Creek State Park.
The California man was taken into police custody in late 2018 in a park with a rifle in his bag.

The California man has many charges aside from the shooting in the park
The California man has also faced eight counts of attempted murder and five counts of burglary that began in 2016. The court found him not guilty of all the attempted murders but guilty of the burglary charges.
The California man is serving time in prison for possessing explosives and a loaded gun.
The California man is on probation at the time of his arrest.
