Cordarius Dorsey, also known as YSL Polo, who is a co-defendant alongside Young Thug in the YSL RICO case, has been found guilty of murder in a separate case in Georgia

Cordarius Dorsey, already serving a life sentence for a prior 2019 murder and robbery, now faces life without parole and an additional 55 years for this latest conviction. His attorney, Suri Chadha Jimenez, intends to appeal this decision.

Brian Steel, the lawyer representing Young Thug, filed a motion last week seeking to have Cordarius Dorsey removed from the ongoing RICO trial, citing concerns about his conduct in the courtroom potentially impacting the fairness of Young Thug‘s trial.

Judge Ural Glanville has not reached a decision regarding the separation of Cordarius Dorsey’s case from the larger trial

Both Cordarius Dorsey and Young Thug are among the eight defendants still awaiting trial in the YSL RICO case.

Notably, jury selection for Young Thug’s trial commenced back in January, and months later, a jury is yet to be finalized. The 2022 RICO indictment named Young Thug and Cordarius Dorsey among 26 individuals associated with YSL. While some defendants have accepted plea deals, others have had their cases severed from the main trial.
