The college student just finished her shift as a hostess at Rockaway Hotel and was waiting for a bus at Queens Sidewalk to go picnicking with her sister in Central Park.
At 2:17 in the afternoon, the 29-year-old driver of Hyundai Venue curved the sidewalk at Rockaway Beach Blvd. and Beach 108th St., crashing into a college student at the Queens sidewalk bus stop.

Medical responders rushed the college to Brookdale University Hospital but proclaimed dead on arrival
Her Peyton stepped off the bus to meet her big sister, texting the college student, I’m here already only to find herself encircled by the accident aftermath.
