Following the recently disclosed U.S. military videotape of reportedly hostile behavior by pilots of the People’s Liberation Army, Chinese official media responded on Sunday with their videos, seemingly to place the blame elsewhere.

The footage from China Central Television (CCTV) opens with a shot of the USS Ralph Johnson, an Arleigh-Burke class destroyer, approaching a Chinese vessel on August 19 in the South China Sea.

The video states that the American destroyer is “dangerously disturbed with the regular practice of Chinese naval vessels,” however the Chinese ship is shown navigating to starboard, facing the other ship instead of moving away from it.
