Democrats in the California State Senate approved a contentious new bill previously this week, upsetting many parents.
According to AB 665, parents may take their children aged 12 and older out of the house without court permission. Carl DeMaio from Reform California, who is in charge of an initiative to prevent AB 665 from becoming law, joins us to talk about it.
