Capricorn Clark Testifies: Diddy Kidnapped Her at Gunpoint

In December 2011, Capricorn Clark, former assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs, experienced a night that would haunt her for years. Testifying in a Manhattan courtroom, Clark recounted how Combs, enraged upon discovering his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s relationship with rapper Kid Cudi, arrived at her apartment armed and demanded she accompany him to confront Cudi. Clark described the incident as a kidnapping, stating she feared for her life.

Kid Cudi Corroborates Clark’s Account

Rapper Kid Cudi confirmed Clark’s testimony, stating that Combs entered his home uninvited and that Clark had called him, indicating she was coerced into the situation. Cudi also testified about a subsequent incident where his Porsche was firebombed, suspecting Combs’ involvement.

A Pattern of Abuse and Intimidation

Clark’s testimony extended beyond the 2011 incident. She detailed a series of abusive behaviors by Combs during her tenure from 2004 to 2012. These included being subjected to multiple lie detector tests over missing jewelry, with threats of being thrown into the East River if she failed. Clark also recounted being physically pushed out of Combs’ Miami home in 2006 and being threatened early in her employment due to her previous association with rival music executive Suge Knight.

Witnessing Violence Against Others

Clark testified about witnessing Combs violently assault Cassie Ventura. She described an incident where Combs dragged Ventura from bed and repeatedly kicked her while a security guard stood by without intervening. Clark, fearing for her own safety, contacted Ventura’s mother instead of the authorities.

Legal Implications and Ongoing Trial

These testimonies are part of a broader federal case against Combs, who faces charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and kidnapping. If convicted, he could face a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison, with the possibility of a life sentence. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
