California Man Approaches Potential Robber with Act of Kindness, and This Happened

A 69-year-old California man named Michael Armus Sr. was able to stop an attempted bank robbery after approaching a potential robber with an act of kindness.

When the California man was depositing a check at a bank, he noticed the 42-year-old man, Eduardo Placensia, approaching the bank teller and demanding money with a note claiming that Placensia possessed a bomb.

The California man decided to step in and approached the potential robber with open ears to listen to his problems. He took him outside the bank and hugged him, where he started bursting into tears.

California Man Offers Empathy to a Potential Robber and Successfully Stops a Bank Robber Attempt

During the investigation, the California man revealed that he recognized the potential bank robber as his daughter’s friend and their former neighbor in an apartment complex despite the shirt covering his nose and mouth.

According to the California man, he considered visiting the potential bank robber in prison after he was arrested for attempted robbery following the failed bank robbery attempt that he stopped, Upworthy reported.
