The California man was guilty of murdering a woman whose body was found after being buried in his backyard for ten years. He stabbed Desiree Thompson to death. The victim was a mother of four.
The victim left her home in California City at about 6 in the evening on Jan. 7, 2012, to visit a friend, and had her last conversation with her mother around 8:30 p.m.
Desiree Thompson’s missing case remained a mystery for more than ten years until reliable informants with information about her disappearance came to the police.

The California man allegedly buried Thompson in his backyard. Evidence at the trial hearing showed that her blood was found in a California man’s bedroom.
