The video reveals a man, believed to be Brian Dowling, passing by without any initial interaction. Moments later, the same individual is seen kicking over several parked mopeds. When confronted by Carson, the suspect reportedly responded with aggression, asking, “What are you looking at?”
Despite Carson’s efforts to defuse the situation, the suspect produced a knife and launched a violent attack
Carson sustained three stab wounds, one of which fatally pierced his heart. Kenny emphasized that there is no evidence indicating any prior connection between Brian Dowling and Carson or his girlfriend.
Ryan Carson was a widely recognized activist known for his dedicated advocacy against opioid overdoses. His passing has prompted numerous tributes, including expressions of grief and condolences from Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Democratic New York Senator Chuck Schumer, as highlighted by CBS News.
