Boston Lawyer Promoted to Being Chief Prosecutor Will Focus on Kosovo War Crimes Cases
A current Boston lawyer named Kimberly West was promoted as the new chief prosecutor that will mainly focus on investigating several cases related to the war crimes in Kosovo Friday.
According to reports from AP News, the Boston lawyer who was newly appointed as the chief prosecutor replaced the former chief of prosecution Jack Smith after he became a special counsel in the Justice Department to investigate former President Donald Trump and his 2020 election fraud claims against President Joe Biden.
The Boston lawyer will reportedly work on cases that focus on alleged crimes by Kosovo Liberation Army’s members during the Kosovo War against Serbia in 1998-1999.

Boston Lawyer Expresses Gratitude After Being Selected to Be the New Chief Prosecutor
Following her appointment, the Boston lawyer expressed her gratitude as she felt honored for being selected as the new chief prosecutor and being able to investigate the Kosovo war-related cases.
The Boston lawyer once worked with a Boston prosecution team that investigated Bosnian war crimes that led to the life imprisonment of the former leader Radovan Karadzic.
