Bashaud Breeland Arrested: Former NFL Star Faces Charges Including Stolen Car, Guns, and Drugs After Charlotte Traffic Stop

Former NFL cornerback and Super Bowl champion Bashaud Breeland, aged 31, has been taken into custody by Charlotte, North Carolina law enforcement subsequent to a traffic stop earlier this week

The incident was documented in a police report that was accessed by various sources on Wednesday. Bashaud Breeland, who concluded his NFL engagement in 2021, was promptly admitted to Mecklenburg County jail in the early hours of Tuesday, as indicated by reports referencing the police report. Following a brief period of detainment, he managed to secure his release by posting a $30,000 bond later the same day.

Authorities halted Bashaud Breeland‘s vehicle a Mercedes Benz SUV during a traffic stop on Monday, only to discover that the vehicle had been reported as stolen in Florida. The search also yielded the discovery of multiple firearms, including two AK-47s and two AR-15s. Moreover, law enforcement uncovered 5.45 pounds of marijuana and 62 grams of illicit mushrooms.

Records from the detention facility document the charges brought against Bashaud Breeland, encompassing allegations of possessing a stolen vehicle, tampering with serial numbers and titles, holding marijuana, being in possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, and unlawfully possessing a stolen firearm.
