A 26-year-old Atlanta woman arrested named Laneisha Shantrice Henderson was accused of attempting to burn down Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic birth home after witnesses claimed to have seen the Atlanta woman arrested pouring gasoline on the property.
According to a report published in Fox News, authorities received a report about the Atlanta woman arrested for trying to burn down the historic property, which would have been successful if not for the two Utah tourists taking a visit to the property and seeing the Atlanta woman arrested pouring the gasoline.
With the help of the witnesses and other bystanders, authorities arrived on time and were able to catch the Atlanta woman arrested before she had a chance to flee, claiming that the Atlanta woman arrested still tried to burn down the historic home with a lighter even when they were holding her tightly.

Following the incident, the Atlanta woman arrested faced an attempted arson charge after trying to burn down Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic birth home despite receiving awards during her service in the Navy.
Even before the Atlanta woman arrested attempted to burn down the historic home, it was expected to be closed to the public until 2025 due to the ongoing renovation, NBC News reported.
