At Least Three People Tragically Killed, Others Injured in Alaska Landslide While Three Others Remain Missing

At least three people were tragically killed and others were injured in the Alaska landslide while three others remained missing despite the search and rescue efforts, wherein the continuous intense rainfall reportedly caused the Alaska landslide.

According to a report published in ABC News, the Alaska landslide occurred near the highway and affected houses and residents, which led to responding authorities discovering three lifeless bodies and an injured resident in different locations following the Alaska landslide’s aftermath.

During the investigation into the Alaska landslide, authorities revealed that three other residents, including two children were still missing from the tragedy and ensured that they would continue conducting an extensive search and rescue operation together with other responding teams and groups working on the Alaska landslide and other natural disasters.

Ongoing Search and Rescue Operation Continues to Find Three Missing People Following Alaska Landslide

Following the Alaska landslide, the ongoing search and rescue operation continued to find the three missing people, but the ground search was not continuous due to severe weather conditions.

About 30 residents were evacuated while responding authorities continued to urge residents around the affected area to evacuate into safe places to prevent further casualties of the Alaska landslide, Reuters reported.
