The public is presently being asked to assist the New York City Police Department with finding 3 people who engaged in the burglary on Wednesday, November 22. The event happened close to the location of Morningside Drive and West 116 Street.
According to police reports, the accused approached a male individual who was 65 years old from behind at around 11:30 a.m.
The attackers claimed and took the victim’s iPhone with kitchen knives in both hands before making their getaway on foot.
When they had been spotted exiting Morningside Park at West 123 Street and Morningside Avenue, no injuries had been recorded.
The suspects’ photos have been made public by the NYPD, which also encourages anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline of the NYPD.
