Authorities reported a tragic incident of an arson attack at a bar in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico, resulting in the death of 11 people on Friday night
Officials confirmed that the perpetrator of the arson attack is now in custody. The arson attack took place in the border town of San Luis Rio Colorado, adjacent to Yuma, Arizona, on the U.S.-Mexico border. Among the victims of the arson attack were seven men and four women, while six others suffered injuries in the blaze, according to the state prosecutor’s office in Sonora. The suspect reportedly used a flaming object, possibly a Molotov cocktail, to carry out the devastating act.
Santos González Yescas, the mayor of San Luis Rio Colorado, revealed on Saturday afternoon through a tweet that an arson attack suspect had been apprehended in connection with the tragic incident at the Beer House bar.
