Alabama’s Sole Congressional Seat Is up To Voters.

The state’s six additional congressional districts will be decided. Each incumbent is challenged. 

  1. Republican Rep. Jerry Carl faces Libertarian Alexander Remrey in the 1st District.
  2. Republican Rep. Barry Moore defeated Democrat Phyllis Harvey-Hall and Libertarian Jonathan Realz to retain his 2nd Congressional District seat.
  3. Republican Rep. Mike Rogers faces Democrat Lin Veasey, Libertarian Thomas Sickofdc Casson, and independent Douglas A. Bell in the 3rd Congressional District.
  4. Republican Rep. Robert Aderholt defeated Democrat Rick Neighbors and Libertarian Johnny C. Cochran in the 4th Congressional District.
  5. Dale Strong, a Republican, was elected as Representative for Alabama’s 5th Congressional District.
  6. Rep. Gary Palmer challenges Libertarian Andria Chieffo in the 6th Congressional District.
  7. Rep. Terri Sewell faces Republican Beatrice Nichols and Libertarian Gavin Goodman in the 7th Congressional District. Alabama’s single congressional Democrat is Sewell.
