Alabama Man Pleads Guilty to Fatally Shooting His Pregnant Wife and Killing Their Unborn Son Due to Alleged Online Affair

A 26-year-old Alabama man named Hunter Tatum pleaded guilty to fatally shooting his pregnant wife, killing their unborn son, due to her alleged affair with another woman.

During the investigation, authorities discovered that the Alabama man fatally shot his pregnant wife, Summer, inside their home after learning about his wife’s alleged online affair with another woman from England, which led to the tragic incident.

In a security camera footage released, the Alabama man was seen threatening his wife with a gun, telling her that she didn’t deserve to live while she pleaded for her and their unborn son’s lives, but he didn’t listen and shot her in the head.

Alabama Man Avoids Death Penalty After Pleading Guilty to Fatally Shooting His Pregnant Wife

Following the tragic shooting incident at the hands of the Alabama man, authorities rushed to save their baby, and doctors immediately performed an emergency C-section on his wife; however, the baby only survived for almost two hours.

True Crime Daily reported that the victim’s family initially sought the death penalty sentence, but the Alabama man pleaded guilty to fatally shooting his pregnant wife and was sentenced to two consecutive 99 years in prison.
