The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency announced on Monday that the lifeless body of 22-year-old Brooks Hardie, a resident of Bremen, Georgia, was discovered in Lake Guntersville
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the search for Hardie was initiated by state and local authorities shortly after he was last seen alive on Saturday morning. The young man encountered misfortune when his kayak capsized during the duck hunting expedition on Lake Guntersville, situated approximately 40 miles east of Huntsville.
Brooks Hardie, who recently earned an associate degree from Snead State Community College in Boaz, Alabama, had a notable presence on the college’s baseball team.
