In response to a new investigation on President Biden’s handling of confidential documents, Republicans are accusing him of being unsuitable for office and arguing that his Department of Justice is acting unfairly.
The Special Counsel Robert Hur report, which was made public on Thursday, was harshly criticized by Republicans for having “disclosed evidence that President Biden knowingly stored and exposed sensitive information after his vice presidency whereas he was a private citizen.”
Hur’s accounts of Biden’s frailty and elderly age—such as the time he struggled to remember the year his son passed away—as well as his choice to drop charges against Biden were pounced upon by Republican lawmakers.
