After the GOP’s censure, Adam Schiff’s Senate campaign raises an unprecedented $8 million

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) set a 2nd quarter fundraising record by generating over $8.1 million for his Senate campaign.

After House Republicans attempted to criticize Schiff for “misleading the American people and for behavior unworthy of an elected Member of the House of Representatives” in a 213-209 vote, Schiff currently ended up one of the only members of Congress to receive such a punishment.

However, as seen by his donations in the 2nd quarter, this might have encouraged voters to support the California Democrat.

According to Politico, Schiff’s campaign claimed around 144,000 unique donors and 233,000 contributions from each of the fifty states and all fifty-eight counties in California.

Furthermore, grassroots supporters who contributed less than $200 comprised 98% of the total. The typical donation was $34.00.
