After stopping for a car on the freeway, an Oklahoma officer was roughly shoved to the ground

A vehicle that he had stopped for a traffic stop on an interstate highway impacted another vehicle, sending the Oklahoma officer flying to the ground, and he feels blessed that he survived.

Trooper Jesse Gregory was struck by a car on January 18 when he was standing at the passenger-side window of his car within the Oklahoma City suburb of Yukon. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol shared dash camera footage of the incident on its Facebook page on Wednesday.

Gregory said to KWTV News 9 that “I can barely recall barrel sliding to my feet after watching the video.”

Gregory and the other two individuals engaged in the event received medical attention and were later released, according to OHP.
