After pro-Palestine demonstrators blocked the airport entrance, JFK holiday travelers abandoned their cars on the highway

On Wednesday, visitors had to travel from the highway to the terminal at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City due to protesters calling for a ceasefire blocking 1 of the airport’s main entrances.

A small group obstructed traffic on the I-678 leading to the airport while holding Palestinian flags and yelling pro-Palestinian slogans. The group was caught on camera.

Afterward, travelers who were trying to make their flights had to walk the distance from the roadblock to their terminals.

After arriving at the site, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police department cleared the road to ensure everyone’s safety.

The event started at 11:30 a.m. and was over in about 20 minutes, based on The Messenger.
