Adam Schiff is criticized by Ted Cruz for advancing baseless Trump-Russia accusations

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has been accused by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) of “telling lies to the American citizens” regarding the California Democrat’s claims of collaboration between the previous president Donald Trump and Russia.

Cruz criticized Schiff after special investigator John Durham’s report, which found that the FBI and DOJ lacked sufficient grounds to begin an inquiry into claims of conspiracy between Trump and Russia, was made public.

He is undoubtedly a specialist at conducting a poor inquiry. On Fox News’ Fox and Friends, Cruz stated: “We witnessed Adam Schiff, maybe the poorest in all of Congress cheating on the American citizens, using data he acquired in a confidential context, choosing to leak it, and disclosing unfairly.

Cruz continued by addressing the Durham report’s allegations and claiming that the Trump and Russia inquiry was “constantly a fake from the beginning.” The Texas Republican questioned whether Golden State voters will “hold Schiff to account” for his actions.
