For previous California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R), it would be a “no brainer” for Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) to consider running for the presidency shortly.
In an appearance with the Hollywood Reporter, the former politician and film actor from California was questioned regarding the present governor of the Golden State and whether or not he might be a candidate for president.
“I believe that Newsom’s candidacy for president is a no-brainer. Each governor of a significant state desires to attempt that, according to Schwarzenegger.
While Newsom has supported President Joe Biden for a 2nd term and declared he won’t run for the presidency in 2024, he has established the Campaign for Democracy to take on Republican leaders in different states by criticizing their actions. It has been suggested that the California governor might run for president in the future as a result of this action and several he has taken.
Schwarzenegger, the most current Republican governor of California, responded to a question regarding Newsom’s performance by saying he will “do stuff more clearly,” but he did not want to blame him since “it is impossible to satisfy everyone.”
