According to Pence, Trump’s attorneys urged him to “dismiss votes outright”

According to a Trump lawyer, Mike Pence is going to be one of Donald Trump’s “top witnesses” and the former president would be “acquitted” if he appears at the criminal trial on January 6, ABC News said.

The former vice president of the Trump administration is regarded as a key witness to claims that Trump attempted to invalidate the results of the 2020 presidential election and exerted demand on Pence to leave his legislative duty of acknowledging President Biden’s victory.

Pence stated to CBS News on Sunday that while he has “no desire to speak” in the matter, he would “obey the law” and “react to a request of the law, if it arrives.”

To keep track of “what exactly was being said,” he acknowledged that he occasionally took notes, “especially at important moments,” such as at the time of the Jan. 6 investigation’s proceedings “provided the significant events that were happening.”
