Five Years Ago, five people were killed in the Capital Gazette newspaper mass shooting. The state held a wreath-laying ceremony with the grieving relatives of the victims, former and current staff of the newspaper company, and government officials.
Maria Hiaasen, the widow, said that her heart aches for those families of the recent mass shooting in Annapolis but told them that strength, love, patience, and time to make life better after the tragedy.
Laws should pass to end gun violence
The Capital Gazette newspaper mass shooting reminded us of how much work we still have to do to build safer places and end gun violence, said the Governor.
