A buyer of a Tesla claimed he and his partner were “flabbergasted” to receive a sizable bill for fixing their electric car.
After their Tesla’s battery was harmed by rain the previous week, Johnny Bacigalupo and Rob Hussey claimed to the Scottish news organization Edinburgh Live that they were charged £17,374, or almost $21,000, to restore it.
“I genuinely find it hard to accept that this has occurred. I initially believed we would receive a bill for £500 or £1,000 when I first received the call, Bacigalupo told Edinburgh Live. “When they mentioned over $17,000, it is beyond ridiculous. Honestly, I felt like my heart stopped.”
