On March 23, at approximately 10:15 p.m., a 25-year-old guy was seen outside of a convenience store at 3600 Bronxwood Avenue in Williamsbridge. An individual got out of a Nissan Sentra as it approached the supermarket. After that, he took a gun out of his pocket and started firing.
After being hit once across the leg, the victim fled into the shop. Unconcerned the shooter continued to open fire inside the business. A 42-year-old man employee was wounded in the leg by one of the gunshots.
According to police, the shooter got again into the Nissan alongside 2 other individuals and took off. They left the vehicle close to Blackrock Avenue. They can then be seen racing along the street in the CCTV footage.
They immediately fled to Pugsley Avenue by jumping across a white picket fence. Thereby, a waiting black vehicle picked them up. The vehicle drove south on Pugsley Avenue.
Both victims of the incident were taken to a neighboring hospital, where their conditions were classified as stable.
Males around the ages of 25 and 30 are characterized as the shooter and his coworkers.
