A man on Chelsea Street is followed, attacked, and robbed of his cellphone

Photos of 2 people who are allegedly responsible for following, attacking, and taking a man’s cell phone on a Manhattan street have been made public by the police. The event happened a week ago.

At approximately 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, December 24, a 23-year-old male got into a furious altercation with several suspects close to the Chelsea junction of 22nd Street and 7th Avenue.

Following an argument between the 2 groups, the victim was pursued across the street by two of the men.

The victim was on the floor when the male kicked and struck him multiple times in the head before stealing his phone.

Following the altercation, the suspects fled rapidly on foot, walking along 7th Avenue toward 23rd Avenue in the north.
