On Christmas Eve, Justina West got a heartbreaking call telling her that her younger brother had tragically died in a shooting.
At first, she failed to cry. She couldn’t quite believe her brother had died as a result of assault weapons. It was yet another terrible loss in their lives; in 2015, their mom had also been shot and killed in the metro region.
She finally reached her breaking point, but not before she found the strength to contact their loved ones and share the terrible news that Nicholas “Nicky” West had recently passed away.
