Alexa Bartell, a Colorado woman, 20 years old and a resident of Arvada, was driving home from work at about 10:45 p.m. when the rock cruised through her windshield and hit her. A Colorado woman was on a phone call with a friend when the line unexpectedly went silent. The friend tracked her and discovered that Alexa’s car was running off the road.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office resolved that a Colorado woman was killed by a rock and thrown from a passing car. Police authorities concluded her death as a homicide.

Four unsettled rock-throwing incidents in the area
Police Investigators had felt the Colorado woman’s death was one of four unsettled rock-throwing incidents that transpired in the area Wednesday night.
