A body was pulled from a river and found in North Riverside

On Friday night in Wichita, Kansas (KSNW), emergency personnel were called to North Riverside in response to an inquiry about a body found there.

At approximately 5 p.m., a concerned individual called the Wichita Police Department to report seeing someone submerged in the river along the 2100 block of N. Riverside Blvd. Both the WPD and the Wichita Fire Department responded to this right away.

When the police and firemen arrived, they discovered the body in the Little Arkansas River.

According to WPD, authorities are still unsure about the victim’s personality. They declared that the neighborhood was safe.
