A 33-year-old man named Philip Pepe Jr. was arrested for stealing a car and kidnapping a 3-year-old boy inside the vehicle outside IHOP in Florida.
According to reports from True Crime Daily, authorities responded to a report about a stolen vehicle and a missing 3-year-old boy, suspected of being kidnapped by the 33-year-old man just outside the restaurant, where his mother left him for several minutes.
Following the missing report, authorities immediately searched to find the 3-year-old boy and arrested the 33-year-old man; however, they only discovered later the stolen car and the child unharmed, with no traces of the suspect.
33-Year-Old Man Faces Multiple Charges After Stealing Vehicle and Kidnapping Child in Florida
During the ongoing search, authorities received a tip from an anonymous person, claiming that the 33-year-old man checked in at a hotel but was already gone.
Fortunately, the 33-year-old man’s information during the hotel reservation helped the authorities locate him, leading to his arrest after days of searching.
The 33-year-old man faced multiple charges after stealing a car and kidnapping a 3-year-old boy inside the vehicle.
