At a Tennessee residence, 6 individuals were discovered dead in an apparent murder-suicide, 3 of them being children.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation claims that when Marion County sheriff’s officers and Jasper police personnel reacted to reports of gunfire on Thursday at 9 p.m. local time, they discovered the house had been set on fire.
The charred remains of 3 adults and 3 kids were discovered inside the house after the fire departments extinguished the fire.
Based on authorities, a 7th individual who had suffered a gunshot injury in that shooting was discovered alive and was taken to the hospital.
As per authorities, one of those discovered dead included the person who is thought to be guilty of the deaths.
Based on police, all 6 of the victims’ bodies were transported to Nashville for autopsies.
Bo Burnett, the sheriff of Marion County, stated that it was a personal incident at a single-family residence.
