3 Charged of Smashing a Grandview Police Vehicle and Detained Following Pursuit

Authorities from Cass County say that three people who were allegedly engaged in a police pursuit were taken into custody on Tuesday after they intentionally smashed into a patrol car.

At approximately four in the morning on Tuesday, the Grandview police got a complaint regarding a disturbance at 140th Street and Lowell Avenue.

A Grandview cop was faced with a scenario in which suspects in a Jeep Cherokee intentionally crashed with a police car and a parked automobile while conversing with the victim of the incident. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from this occurrence.

The Grandview police began pursuing the suspect vehicle and eventually learned that it was previously declared stolen in Overland.
