Two murder suspects, a 20-year-old Lakevis Sloan and an unnamed 17-year-old, were arrested Thursday after fatally shooting a 6-year-old boy named Sir’Antonio Brown while playing with his 7-year-old cousin in the backyard.
According to authorities, they received a report about the shooting incident where murder suspects fired several gunshots that seemed to be targeting someone else but tragically hit the 6-year-old boy, who had just changed his clothes to play in the backyard after school.
The 6-year-old boy’s godmother, Shyneisha Hill, claimed that the murder suspects might have been targeting the child’s uncle, who was sleeping in his truck during that time, unaware that the child met his tragic death, AP News reported.
