A 14-year-old subway surfer was killed, while another teen was severely injured after falling from an L train in Brooklyn.
14-Year-Old Subway Surfer Died After Falling from L Train While Another Teen in Critical Condition
A 14-year-old subway surfer died from falling from the roof of an L train in Brooklyn, while another teenager, aged 14 also, is still in critical condition Thursday after attempting to subway surf in the station.
According to reports from Daily News, authorities discovered the bodies of the subway surfer and his friend unconscious under the train, wherein the subway surfer was later pronounced dead on the scene, while the other teenager was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
During the investigation, witnesses claimed that the subway surfer and his friend climbed onto the L train’s roof and fell from there, leading to a tragic incident that cost the subway surfer’s life and injured his friend.

Authorities Discourage Teenagers from Subway Surfing Following the Death of the 14-Year-Old Subway Surfer
Following the death of the 14-year-old subway surfer, Brooklyn authorities discouraged other teenagers from doing subway surfing as their hobby, especially in dangerous places, including train stations, to prevent accidents and, worst, deaths.
The tragic incident that led to the death of the subway surfer was only one of many reported deaths related to subway surfing in the area, which prompted authorities to address the increasing cases.
