12-Year-Old Boy Shoots and Kills Sonic Employee in Texas

A 12-year-old boy shot and killed a 32-year-old employee named Matthew Davis Saturday night in the Sonic Drive-In parking lot.

According to authorities, the 12-year-old boy went to the restaurant together with the 20-year-old man Angel Gomez, who had an argument with the Sonic employee for causing trouble in the parking lot before the tragic incident happened.

During the argument, the 12-year-old boy reportedly took an AR-style rifle inside their vehicle and went on shooting the Sonic employee several times, leading to his tragic death, AP News reported.

12-Year-Old Boy Arrested After Shooting a Sonic Employee to Death

Authorities immediately responded to the shooting incident and rushed the victim to the hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead while the 12-year-old boy and the 20-year-old man fled from the incident to avoid charges.

However, the 20-year-old man was arrested after returning to town, while the 12-year-old boy was later found and arrested in a town near the location of the incident.

The shooting incident alarmed the authorities and the residents after learning that a 12-year-old boy could do such a brutal act.
