The report says that 875 of the 4,586 prison inmates released in 2022 were homeless

The past prison inmates are just a victim of the desserts of the criminal justice system of Minnesota.

The lawmakers took steps this year by funding $4.3 million toward housing stability for past prison inmates. The funding will pay for staff, rent assistance, and other ways to help find a way to a new home when prison inmates leave state custody.
