As previously reported, Alexandra Breckenridge confirmed that filming on the film would be completed in December 2021. Martin Henderson posted to Instagram on Jan. 19, 2022, to announce that he was still working on season 4 and that it was “excellent and ready for consumption.”

Virgin River’s first three seasons have ten episodes, which has become the standard episode count for Netflix and other streaming services. Although fans may anticipate ten new episodes in the next season, this is not the case.

Alexandra Breckenridge has offered a dismal update on the fate of season five just as fans of Virgin River excitedly await the premiere of season 4. Although the popular series has already been renewed for a fifth season, the actress revealed through Instagram Live that filming has been postponed indefinitely.
“We were intended to begin filming season five in March, but it was pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances… I’m not sure what I’m saying. Man, I have no idea. I’m hoping we can start this summer “She allegedly stated in her case. “Rather than filming in the winter, it would be good to film in the summer.”
