The 24th-ranked Clemson Tigers team, now boasting a flawless 9-0 record, demonstrated resilience and skill against TCU. In a game where every point mattered, Ian Schieffelin played a pivotal role, notching 14 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. The Clemson Tigers, led by RJ Godfrey’s 10 rebounds, held a commanding lead, stretching it to 16 points during the contest. The Toronto-born Emanuel Miller made a commendable effort for TCU with 16 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Clemson Tigers’ dominance.

Despite a valiant effort from TCU, who started the season with seven consecutive wins, the Horned Frogs succumbed to their first defeat, finishing with a 7-1 record. Micah Peavy and Jameer Nelson Jr. contributed 12 and 10 points, respectively, but TCU faced challenges, enduring over seven minutes without a made field goal in the second half.

The Clemson Tigers’ defensive efforts were highlighted by limiting TCU to a mere 3 for 16 from beyond the arc, with only one successful attempt in the second half

Ernest Udeh Jr. secured 10 rebounds for the Horned Frogs, but Clemson Tigers’s tenacity and strategic plays proved decisive. Despite a shaky start from the three-point range, shooting 3 for 13 in the first period, Clemson Tigers held a slim 36-35 lead at halftime. However, they made necessary adjustments, going 4 for 14 from long range in the second half to secure their triumph.

With this victory, the Clemson Tigers solidified their position as a force to be reckoned with, extending their unbeaten run and leaving a mark on the basketball scene.
