The nation’s top offensive line recruit, Jordan Seaton, announced his commitment to play under the leadership of Coach Deion Sanders

Expressing his admiration for Coach Deion Sanders, Seaton highlighted Sanders’ Hall of Fame career by winning a gold jacket. He also emphasized the Buffaloes’ potential, pointing to two Heisman Trophy candidates on the roster, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, and the versatile Travis Hunter.

Seaton, recognized as the country’s premier high school offensive line recruit, stands at an impressive 6-foot-5, weighing 287 pounds. His decision to choose Colorado over powerhouse programs like Alabama, Ohio State, and Florida signals a significant win for the Buffaloes. The offensive tackle is poised to make an impact as early as the 2024 season, aiming to fortify a line that struggled in 2023, allowing the second-highest number of quarterback sacks in the nation.

The commitment comes at a crucial time for the Buffaloes, who not only faced challenges on the field but also witnessed the departure of two starting linemen to the transfer portal after the season

In a recent interview with USA TODAY Sports, Coach Deion Sanders acknowledged the team’s responsibility for the high number of sacks, pledging to strengthen the offensive line through potential transfers from the portal. The Buffaloes, concluding the 2023 season with a disappointing 4-8 record, experienced a six-game losing streak after an initial 3-0 start. Shedeur Sanders, Coach Deion Sanders’ son and quarterback, bore the brunt of the offensive line struggles, suffering 52 sacks, the most in major college football.

To address this issue, Seaton made a passionate plea on Undisputed, vowing that Shedeur’s fate as the most-sacked quarterback “will never happen again.” He called on potential recruits to join the Buffaloes and contribute to the team’s resurgence, urging them to support a cause that aligns with their shared goals.
