Detroit Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone faced Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers with a heavy heart

They are now struggling to find a way back to the U.S. amidst the chaos, with their departure scheduled from Tel Aviv on Thursday, as reported by The Detroit News. Alex Anzalone expressed, “It’s hard. (It’s) really all I’ve been thinking about,” in an interview after the game. Following the significant victory, Alex Anzalone made a public plea to President Biden via Twitter, “My parents are in this group. Please get my parents home… @POTUS,” in response to Rep. Byron Donalds’ appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures.” Donalds disclosed that 53 members of his constituency were affected in Jerusalem.

“We must provide as much assistance as possible to get our people home,” emphasized the Republican congressman from Florida. He added a stern message to Hamas, stating, “Let me be VERY CLEAR with Hamas: Touch an American’s head & see what happens.”

Pastor Alan Brumback provided an update

Pastor Alan Brumback of the church provided an update on Facebook, assuring, “We are doing good at our hotel in Jerusalem... Continue to pray for Israel and for this to be resolved as peacefully and quickly as possible. We are trusting in the Lord and we know that God’s got this.” The conflict has claimed over 1,100 lives since Hamas launched an onslaught of missiles at Israel and encroached upon towns along the Gaza border, prompting Israel’s response to declare war on the Iran-backed group.
