NASA Alerts Public About Closely Approaching Massive Apollo Group Asteroid to Earth
NASA alerted the public about a massive Apollo group asteroid closely approaching Earth and released important information about the Apollo group asteroid as different space agencies observed and tracked the status of the massive Apollo group asteroid for public awareness.
According to a report published in HT Tech, the massive Apollo group asteroid, identified as Asteroid 2022 BS2 and classified as Near-Earth Asteroid or commonly called NEA, wherein the identified Apollo group asteroid was approximately the same size as an aircraft.
Following the NASA report, the Apollo group asteroid is already moving closely toward Earth; fortunately, despite its massive size, space agencies did not consider the massive Apollo group asteroid as a potentially hazardous asteroid because of the slim chance that it will hit and impact the Earth’s surface.
