To avoid unpleasant images of detainees, Israeli and Jewish schools apparently advise parents to have their children erase Instagram and TikTok

According to reports, many Israeli and Jewish schools are advising parents to remove violent content relating to the Israel-Hamas war from their children’s mobile phones by deleting social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and X, previously referred to as Twitter.

As reported by CNN on Tuesday, the parents’ group of a Tel Aviv school expressed concern that Hamas militants would publish graphic footage of hostages “pleading for their lives.”

“We must prevent our children from watching this content. Also, it is impossible to keep all of this stuff off of social media, making it even more challenging. “Thank you for your patience and assistance.”
